Colin Smith to spearhead growth across Americas

Houston, Texas, US, 11th August 2014: Wood Group Intetech (WG Intetech), the world leader in well integrity, has appointed Colin Smith to lead the expansion of its operations across the Americas.

Based in Houston, Texas, Mr Smith’s role will focus on developing WG Intetech’s business throughout the region, championing its industry-leading well integrity management solutions. This will include raising the profile of WG Intetech’s established Electronic Corrosion Engineer (ECE®) and Well Integrity Toolkit (iWIT®) software, as well as introducing new solutions to the US market.

Mr Smith brings with him nearly two decades of industry experience, the majority of which he spent with oilfield services giant Schlumberger. He has an exceptional understanding of the local US market and will lead the expansion of WG Intetech’s presence in the States and beyond.
