asset-integrity-imgs-5

Proper asset integrity control requires a detailed knowledge of the corrosion threats faced by materials under different environmental conditions. The relevant inspection methods and optimised risk-based inspection schedules can only be selected if the potential form of corrosion is known, and if it can be identified whether it is generalised, localised or in the form of cracking risks. And conditions can change - materials such as corrosion-resistant alloys may end up in environments that differ from the service conditions for which they were selected.

Wood Group Intetech is frequently asked to advise on procedures for optimum installation and corrosion control during hydro-testing and commissioning. We have written special procedures for early operational and out-of-service periods.
